(Passiflora Lingularis)

It is a round-shaped fruit of a beautiful orange color and slightly shiny, hard skin. The gelatinous pulp has a grayish color, edible black seeds and an exquisitely sweet taste, . To eat it, break the skin gently with your hand or against a hard surface, being careful not to let the pulp slip out of its interior, and then eat the pulp with a spoon. PREPARATION

To know whether the granadilla is ripe, check if its skin has turned from green to a beautiful orange color. It holds up well for several days if kept at room temperature.
